    I have a user who in the past was able to upload to a File Gallery, but is now unable to do so. Permissions have been double-checked as OK.

    He gets the error:

    Errors detected
    Upload was not successful: (filename here)

    He's able to do everything else (forums, wiki-editing). His account works from another location. He's tried 2 different accounts from his location both with the same result above.

    Files are stored in the DB. Using v. 1.9.1.

    Could this be a dialup connection problem?

    Were the files about the same size as before? Sometimes uploads fail because the file is too big. Can other users successfully upload files the same size as his failures?

    I wouldn't think so unless the upload is taking so long it's timing out.

    Posting for future reference: it turns out it was a connection problem. The file (even a moderately small one) was timing out. Once a good conncetion was able to be made, the upload went well.
