I was successful in allowing my anonymous visitors to view the categories however I am unable to allow the anonymous visitors to view the individual wiki pages . it is currently prompting the anonymous visitor to log in when they attempt to view a wiki.

thank you for your help.

Through error and trials, I have concluded that the "Anonymous" group name and the "admin" user account name are likely coded into Tikiwiki logic. This resulted in several malfuctioning installations of Tikiwiki as I went through and removed/renamed the default accounts and groups. The first moral of these lessons: do not rename or delete either the "Anonymous" group name or the "admin" user account name.

In addition to sylvie's instructions, you might also need to set individual Wiki page permissions (perms) for the Anonymous group. You might also want to ensure that the menu rights allow their respective sections and options to appear in the menu.

I figured out the problem; the permissions were set from within the admin categories area and were overriding the group's permissions. Thank you for your help.
