    I have to think this is in RTFM territory, but is there a list somewhere of the legal characters for page names? I have looked and looked and can not find it anywhere.

    I am setting up a wiki for chemistry and that means many of the names I would like to use as page titles have parentheses, brackets, +, -, and other symbols in them. While they seem to work in general, I am often finding features elsewhere that conflict (for instance the (alias()) feature just does not like parentheses in the title, something which is very bad for me - bug or am I using an illegal character? I just don't know).

    I just want to know before I get to far along what characters work by specification and which ones just happen to work sometimes.

    That is not correct, even with link format on complete tiki will only allow a seemingly random collection of non-US english characters to be used in aliases

    & for instance does not work in 4.2 which is driving me insane,

    And in cases like this with restrictions there needs to be a list or at the least a hint of what charaters are allowed and what rules are followed
