Fatal error - Zend_Search_Lucene_Exception

I'm very new to this and know nothing about how Tiki work under the bonnet.

I recently got a site with SiteGround. I get an error message every time I save a Tiki page. However, the page does save so when I back out my edts have een made.

I want to set up a community site and the error message will really put people off making pages (most are even less IT literate than me).

I asked SiteGround support but they said it was a problem with the software, that I should ask on this forum, they couldn't help.

Has anyone seen the error message below? Is there anything I can do to stop it? Anything I can say to SiteGround to convince them that it is their problem to help me resolve?

I couldn't find "Lucene" when I searched the forum or the FAQ - sorry if this is covered already.

Thank you in anticipation.

go to tiki-admin.php?page=search

1- Deactivate the search.
2- And use "MySQL Full-Text Search" instead, which you can activate lower on that page

Zend_Search_Lucene is newer and is the future, but in some cases there are issues.

"MySQL Full-Text Search" is very robust and you won't get these issues anymore.

Best regards,

M ;-)
