    • 1.8.1 Search Problem

    Hi,

    I was finally able to upgrade my wiki to1.8.1 .. when I try to do a search for a word in the Entire Site, I get this error:

    Warning: mysql error: Can't find FULLTEXT index matching the column list in query:
    SELECT COUNT(*) FROM tiki_blog_posts p LEFT JOIN tiki_blogs b ON b.blogId = p.blogId WHERE b.use_find = "y" AND MATCH(p.data,p.title) AGAINST ('installation')
    in /var/www/html/tiki/lib/tikidblib.php on line 125
    Values:

    $result is false
    $result is empty

    When I change the search drop list to 'Wiki Pages' it works OK. Is anyone else getting this problem?

    Hi;
    This sounds like you are using the old search_box Module try the search_new module instead.

    I just tested these at my 181 test site and they both worked! (may be due to lack of content)
    However I have seen elsewhere the search_box one has had problems!

    Hi James,

    Well, with search_new I no longer get any error message .. unfortunately, I also don't get any search results!! Doesn't matter if the setting is Entire Site, Wiki pages, blogs, etc., I always get 0 results back no matter what I try! sad
