Registration visibility

posts: 16 England

On business theme I have chosen, when a new user clicks Login, Register is hidden until the mouse hovers below Login.
Hover

This has defeated the attempts some of my new invitees to register, so how do locate and change the module responsible for login?

Hi,
Please add this CSS rule to the "Custom CSS" textarea under the "Customizations" tab on the Look and Feel admin page (tiki-admin.php?page=look):

.page-header .top_modules .register a {
color: #0082e0;
display: block;
}

That will give "Register" the blue link color and increase the size of the clickable area. Sorry for the trouble; we'll fix this in the next release.

I understand where to add the CSS Rule, but not the instruction to set Category, and provide current categories to Smarty template which I need to do before I can add the rule.

Take a look under Settings > Control Panels > Categories

there seem to be a number of references to about this, so you can experiment with changing the configurations.

Keep in mind, Tiki can be used without Categories (I never use them as they add an unnecessary layer of complication on top of an already complicated 'User Permissions' and 'Group Permissions' set of configurations (more than enough granular control with these two, IMO)

Reassuring to know that Tiki can be used without Categories.

I found the easiest solution was to change the Theme
