  • How to disable side-bar menu for registered users    ()
Hi By default the side-bar menu on a wiki page (with Home, Search etc.) is disabled for anoynmous users but enabled for registered users and admins. Is there a way to disable it for registered users (across all wiki pages on the site) leaving it enabled only for admins?
  • Error message when going to page for registered users    ()
Our running club has a wiki on which we have recently set the permisisons so that only registered users can view and edit it. We plan to give members of the club details of an account which is registered and which they can use to log in to the page. The trouble is that the first time they go to the page, when they have't yet logged in, they see a big red 'Error' message followed by 'You do not have permission to view this page.' There is a small 'Log in' icon above but it is easy to miss. See attached screenshot. Would it be possible to replace the error message by something friendlier, such as 'This page can only be viewed by registered users. Please log in to view the page.' Or is there some other workaround we can use to make the entrance to the wiki page more friendly?
  • Using file galleries with already uploaded files    ()
If I have a bunch of images in various folders, can I just upload them to the server, then get tiki to recognize them in the file galleries? Or is uploading them through the file galleries just easier?

  • Group transition or, how to have a user requesting a group assignment    ()
Hello, On a Tiki21 I have a case where a visitor should be able to register and send a request to be accepted in a specific group. # Anonymous register to the Tiki (tracker users), Group = Registered # Fill a request with additional informations (tracker users additional field) to be assigned to a group, waiting admin approval + Would it be possible to do it all in one action or do we need the 2 steps (registration then assignment) ? # The user gets an email the request is pending # The admin review the request ##Disapprove; an email is sent (sorry your request is not approved) ##Approve; user is assigned to the group and an email is send (your request is approved) I see we have group transition feature and may be other functions but I can't find a lot of documentation. Anyone has some knowledge about this ?

  • How to display a dropdown with item field date in a customSearch    ()
Hello, Using a customSearch I want to display a list of item that have a field date. For exemple: tracker_field_attendancereportsDate = "2021-10-28" object_type = "trackeritem" object_id = "6056" tracker_field_attendancereportsDate = "2021-10-28" object_type = "trackeritem" object_id = "6055" tracker_field_attendancereportsDate = "2021-10-26" object_type = "trackeritem" object_id = "6054" I would like to filter by single date but not range of dates using a dropdown to display "this" month available dates and have the dropdown populated. Dropdown options: blank 2021-10-28 2021-10-27 etc... I can't find a way... I have also tried from a mathematical formula... no joy. But I'm dam sure it should be doable...

  • I need to change article's publish date to year 2001. But....    ()
((https://doc.tiki.org/Date-and-Time|Help page)) tell - Start year: Year to show first in dropdown lists. Ok, I was try. Admin - Global Setup - General Settings - Date and Time: I was set "Start Year" to new value: 2001. Applied. Next I check in sample article - publish date, and I try to change to 2001. Without success. First year in dropdown is still 2010. I cannot to change to year 2001. Is it a bug, or I don't understand the documentation? Setting: {img fileId="2362" thumb="box"} And result in article edit: {img fileId="2363" thumb="box"} Thanks. Edit: Tiki v 23.0
  • How do you enable and use the Github-Flavored Markdown in Tiki 21 {MARKDOWN()} plugin    ()
Greetings, How do you enable and use the Github-Flavored Markdown in the Tiki 21.4 {MARKDOWN()} plugin? The League\CommonMark webpage indicates that the Gitub-Flavored Markdown extension is part of the {MARKDOWN()} plugin. If I edit the wikiplugin_markdown.php file as instructed in the ((https://commonmark.thephpleague.com/2.0/extensions/github-flavored-markdown/|League\CommonMark Github-Flavored Marked)) extension page, will this active the GFM extensions? Will this break Tiki 21.4? Are there better or more current instructions/documentation on this? I used a terminal session to install the league/commonmark package (version 1.6.6) and mathjax/mathjax (version 2.7.9) but don't see how to enable and use the Github-Flavored Markdown features. The Tiki 21.4 admin web packages manager does not seem to work. The packages page just returns a blank pages after a long wait. The base {MARKDOWN()} plugin works great but GFM has many features I learned to use.
