A benefit of Tiki as a project and as a community is stability and continuity.

The Tiki project has been going on strong since October 2002.

All the information (code, wiki, forum, etc) has been building knowledge since the beginning. The vast majority of information & code about the project is centralized under *.tiki.org sites and on SourceForge.net

What this avoids:

  • Broken links to external sites (Which have documentation, code, etc.)
  • Duplicated, fragmented information due to people working in different places.

But it's not perfect. Sometimes, there is duplication. Efforts are ongoing to clarify where to put stuff and increase collaboration.
