    Hi folks,

    Anyone know what causes this error?

    Warning: mysql_connect() function.mysql-connect: Too many connections in /usr/webdata/ucladmin/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 318

    Unable to login to the MySQL database 'uclfootball' on 'localhost' as user 'uclfootball'
    Go here to begin the installation process, if you haven't done so already.
    Too many connections

    My ISP SQL stats are:
    Uptime: 419883 Threads: 92 Questions: 3342527 Slow queries: 751 Opens: 60773 Flush tables: 1 Open tables: 64 Queries per second avg: 7.961

    The ISO says the above stats are well within limits?!

    Hi Phylip

    This is usually caused by a loaded mysql server, as we all know that TikiWiki is heavy on its use. When this happens try logging into phpMyAdmin and do the show processlist; command or click its link. It should give you an idea of which site / user is maxing the MySQL out.

    Without access to the my.cnf usually in /etc/my.cnf you cant really do much sad
