Galaxia Workflow Engine

looking for galaxia developers

Looking for developers to work on a Tikiwiki/galaxia project. What we require is basically a knowledge/process management system.

This will consist of the following components:

  • A split window "explorer" view, with a hierarchical tree on the left and a content view on the right. I could imagine the wiki3d also being incorporated into the view, perhaps dividing the screen into a top panel (navigation), itself divided in two, with the tree on the left side of the screen and the java applet on the right, & bottom panel (content). Users would be able to manipulate the structure of the tree, preferably in a manner as transparent as possible. I'm thinking this would involve the wiki structures contained in the explorer module being dynamically updated (thankfully wiki3d already does this).

  • Users would have the ability to add documents (including a coversheet to describe the content as well as upload file attachments) and also document types (which would involve them defining a template form for the addition of new documents following a certain format). Once defined, the document template would then be listed in the "Create New Document" window. When clicking on a leaf node in the tree, the content panel would list the documents in that section, and provide the option of adding a new document. Of course these abilities would depend on the user's permissions.

  • A process builder: the organization would define various processes that it requires to support its operations (for example, a "risk" process that would help the user to analyse the risk involved with a certain operation). We would then be assigned to actually build software to support the process, including the structure (of the process flow as well as database), forms and user permissions. Since much of this functionality is included in Galaxia, and it seems to be nicely extensible, we were thinking of using it. If any of you have better ideas I'm most interested in hearing them. Eventually, we would like the business users to be able to design and build their own processes.

Respond as soon as possible if interested.
