Wikisplit plugin and MySQL

DearAll!

I have noticed a problem with the split plugin and the "::text::" command for centering stuff since the upgrade to 1.9.4,

here is what i tested:

{SPLIT(joincols=>[y],fixedsize=>[n],colsize=>100)} ::row1col1:: @@@ row2col1 {SPLIT}

Now I have 2 pages: one is running 1.9.2, the other 1.9.4

In the 1.9.2 site the first row gets in the middle of the page without problems.

On the 1.9.4 site it stays to the left, no matter what I do. I used the tikineat.css on both to test, I did delete
cache, however it stayed the same.

I copy the code here without parsing again so that u see it too>

row1col1

row2col1

it is the same code, the first row is to the left :-(

So now I decided to copy back the plugin maybe that helps, but I dont find it.
what I really dont get is that old content is ok on the pages, however when I create new splits, it is not ok.. :-(

Please advise me where these plugins are is or/and how to resolve this bug, it messes up the new content on the pages..
many thanks,
cheers,
gezza

found split plugin, but it is the same date and same size in 1.9.3 and 1.9.4., so I guess it did not change.

maybe there is wrong something on my side, but as I can recall, it started after I copied 1.9.4 over 1.9.3.

please let me know if it is the same on your tw or advise what I should copy back to have this working again

tnx&cheers

...

I tried your split sample at a 1.9.4 Tiki site (I added some characters to the second row to widen the column), and the first-row text was centered as intended, so maybe something else at your site is causing the problem.

thanks for the answer Gary!

unfortunately I dont seem to find the solution to this

this is what I did so far:

together with my serverguy we looked up the mysql logs and realized, that my 194tw adds 2 divs in the new pages, a tikiwiki-split div and a normal div while my 192 tw does not. what is the reason for this? the same syntax works differently on the two tw (both use the same tikineat css)

When we entered and added the align=center manually in the 194 one, it was ok, the rows got to the middle..

i did a clean reinstall of 194, made chmod, reestablished database connection, did the sql switch form 18 to 19, no effect..

where is the problem?? is the mysql database corrupt? when I enter the table of pages, I see the syntax signs, they look ok in both..

I am really out of ideas..maybe I should create a new database and fill up the tables from scratch??

please advise me why this is happening :-(((

I found 2 workarounds: when I copied the plugin of 192, it was ok again, also when I added the width=100% to the table. wikisplit using the 194 plugin..

It is still not clear to me that after deleting that table div from the css why tw keeps adding it and messing up the new splits while the old splits keep working fine..I guess it is a bug..anyway, it is working now, so I am happy..

I leave this below for the sake of others that might encounter this issue..

---------

Now when I take a look at the source code of the generated pages using the SPLIT syntaxt of the previuos post, on the tw /192/ install I am running there is only one div class, called "wikitext". On the fresh 194 tw there is also the div class="wikitext" BUT ALSO a table class called "wikiplugin-split" AND ALSO a td class called "normal"

after deleting wikislplit plugin from the server there is again only div class="wikitext" present

So my 3 days long headache is caused by this automatically added table class called "wikiplugin-split" and also a class called "normal", which is in the source code of the faulty page (but that page is using NO CSS since I deleted all css from the server...5 days ago it was fine..I dont get it.. cry )

The first tw i mentioned /192/ is also using the split plugin, but it is not presented at all when looking at the source in the browser...

I remember, that I was doing my own css a few days ago and I included the following at one point: table.wikiplugin-split {font-size: 12px;}

As far as I remember these thingz started sometime after I did this. Can it be that this extra line modified something in the database or in a template???

Now after the reinstall of tw194, and having deleted all the css files on the server the situation is still the same, I have an ugly looking page with bad behaving SPLIT plugin smile
