Help- Nobody can create or edit pages

Hi,

I don't know what's happened, but all of a sudden no-one, not even the Admin user can edit, create, remove, rename any wiki pages.

I check the perms and it's all where it should be, but people with perms tiki_p_edit, tiki_p_admin_wiki etc. cannot do any of that.

Everything else seems to work, the calendar works, the blogs work... now, the tracker page field can create a page, but no one can edit it.

Help!

Well it's a weird one. After much hassle, I've discovered it... seems to be somewhere in the db and I have no idea where. The problem travels with the db if you export the sql and then import it into a fresh installation.

I've been moving it bit by bit to a new one, and have been able to resurrect the important parts on the new one, so at this point I can rebuild it.

But I have no idea what happened or how. Suspects include the ajax and whatever else is turned on by wysiwyg profile not playing nice with sefURL things, somehow, causing the page to not be found triggering a redirect to the home page when you try to get to tiki-editpage.php?page=Anything

Did you add the htaccess file? It is required when using SEFURLs.

Yes, to be clear, I've been working with it with sefURLs working correctly for weeks. When the problem started, I tried turning it off, no help. Tried it with a fresh .htaccess from the 6.1 download, no help. Turned off ajax, turned off re-direct on error. The css and javascript was never minimized to start with. Checked the sql and all the group perm assignments are correct.

A great big THANK YOU to Sylvie and Rick and in particular Louis-Philippe, who all responded to my cry for help.

TURNS OUT that is you set the UserPages prefix to nothing, then somehow it locks up the whole site for editing.

Setting a non-blank prefix turns editing back on.

Jeeeeeeepers, I would not have made that connection.

Thanks Folks!
