Edit a pretty tracker page

I have a tracker in a web page for users to input info (with the tracker plugin and a nice wiki template) that makes a page for each item the users enter, using a page selector field via a wiki page template with a trackerlist plugin in it.

This works fine and makes a nice page for each item.

However, I'm stumped on how to make it editable by the user who created it, without sending them to the actual tracker, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a pretty tracker input page in the first place.

I've been over the docs but can't see how to, for example, make a link on the created page that the creator can see that will take him back to the pretty input page with the item's record pre-selected.

I'm trying to hide the tracker itself completely from the users in other words.

Can anyone point me at a doc or example that explains this?

TIA
